The tours listed below will depart at the Hyatt Regency Hotel - Melville Street Entrance. Please meet motorcoaches 10 minutes prior to the departure time. A jacket or warm sweater and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

All tour prices include roundtrip motorcoach, driver commentary (where applicable), attraction admissions, tour escort, lunch (where it is listed in the description), museum guides, service fees and all applicable taxes.

Note: Venue West reserves the right to cancel a tour should the required minimums listed not be met.

Museum of Anthropology
09:00 to 12:00

If you visit only one museum in Vancouver, make it the Museum of Anthropology. It is stunning! Situated on the cliffs of West Point Grey at the University of British Columbia, the museum features a unique display of West Coast totem poles and one of the finest collections of Pacific Coast Indian art in the world.

This excursion begins with a relaxing seaside drive via deluxe motorcoach. The scenery en-route is spectacular! Upon arrival, museum guides greet guests and lead a tour through the museum’s extensive collections. Learn all about the history of Canada’s First peoples, all the while viewing textiles, artefacts dating back to prehistory and pottery from late medieval and Renaissance Europe, in a magnificent architectural and natural setting.

A Journey to Higher Learning (with Lunch)
09:00 to 15:00

This expedition begins with a leisurely deluxe motorcoach drive to Simon Fraser University. The University, located at the top of a mountain, was designed by Arthur Erickson. After sightseeing with an SFU professor, guests reboard the coach and the tour continues along the upper levels highway, over the Lions Gate Bridge into Stanley Park, one of the largest civic parks in North America and home to an extensive rain forest. A brief stop is provided to view the hand carved Totem Poles, Prospect Point and Brockton Oval, before relaxing and enjoying a sumptuous lunch at the Fish House in Stanley Park.

Then it’s off on a seaside drive along Vancouver’s shoreline beaches to the University of British Columbia. UBC hold an international reputation for advanced research and learning. Guests are greeted by a faculty member and taken on a brief, yet very interesting tour of many of the facilities. Before returning back to the Hotel, guests are treated to a drive through Yaletown, China Town and Gastown, the oldest part of the city.

Victoria Excursion and The Butchart Gardens Tour
07:00 to 19:30

Visit picturesque Victoria and world-famous Butchart Gardens. This full day excursion starts with a 90-minute ferry ride through the scenic Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island where ample time is spent admiring the floral splendours of Butchart Gardens and exploring Victoria's Inner Harbour and attractions.

This fully escorted and commentated tour includes priority ferry boarding, a 90-minute ferry ride through the Gulf Islands and admission to world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Enjoy a scenic seaside drive into downtown Victoria where ample time is provided for guests to explore the many shops, museums and attractions located around the inner harbor before departing on the adventure back to Vancouver.

Per person cost based on minimum 40 participants: $132 Cdn.
